The highly anticipated Salman Khan starrer Sikandar is set to hit the screens on 30th March 2025, but its advance booking figures paint a disappointing picture. Despite aggressive promotions, heavy discounts on tickets, and widespread marketing, the film has failed to generate the expected buzz at the box office

Advance Booking Report: Shockingly Low Numbers
The film’s nationwide advance booking stands at just ₹6.84 Cr with over 18,000+ shows, which is significantly lower than other recent releases in the same genre.
Note - all fingure in Indian rupees and data without block seats
These numbers are considerably lower than Salman Khan’s previous blockbusters and far behind Chhaava which performed significantly better in pre-sales.
A Poor Show Across the Board
Compared to Salman Khan’s previous Eid releases, Sikandar is struggling. While it is tracking better than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, it is way behind Tiger 3 in terms of pre-release buzz and ticket sales. The underwhelming advance numbers indicate a major struggle ahead for the film.
Even with heavy discounts and promotional offers across all major ticket booking platforms, audiences seem hesitant. The pre-release assets (trailer, music, promotional material) have failed to create excitement, leading to this underwhelming response.
Opening Day Predictions: A Big Test Ahead
Looking at the current pace of bookings, Sikandar is expected to open in the ₹22-27 Cr range on its first day. Anything beyond this would be a miracle at this point.
With only one day left until release, the film’s box office fate now depends entirely on spot bookings and word-of-mouth reviews. If the content fails to impress, this could turn into another disappointment for Salman Khan.
