The unstoppable box office phenomenon ‘Chhaava’ has done the unthinkable! The Vicky Kaushal-starrer has now surpassed 'Baahubali 2' (Hindi) and 'Animal' to become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film ever.


On its fourth Saturday (Day 23), Chhaava witnessed an extraordinary jump, collecting ₹17.29 crore nett in India (estimated). With this, its total Hindi nett collection now stands at ₹502.68 crore.

Telugu Dubbed Version Gains Momentum!

Adding to its phenomenal success, Chhaava released in Telugu on 7th March, and the response has been impressive. On its opening day in Telugu states, the film collected ₹2.23 crore nett, marking a solid start.


With the weekend boost, the Telugu version is expected to see an even bigger jump today (Saturday). The film has performed well in Hyderabad, where the overall occupancy stands at 26.12%, showing a good hold across multiplexes and single screens.


Actors with Most ₹500 Cr Hindi Nett Films

The ₹500 Cr club is Bollywood’s elite milestone. Shah Rukh Khan leads with two blockbusters (Pathaan, Jawan). Allu Arjun joins with Pushpa 2, while Prabhas (Baahubali 2) and Sunny Deol (Gadar 2) hold strong records.


Vicky Kaushal has now joined the elite list of actors with a ₹500 crore Hindi nett film, thanks to Chhaava. This achievement places him alongside Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sunny Deol, as well as South Indian icons like Prabhas and Allu Arjun. Occupancy Report: Solid Hold Across Key Cities

The film continues to draw audiences across major metropolitan cities. The occupancy rates on Saturday (Day 23) across major cities are:


Hyderabad – 26.12%

Bengaluru – 26.32%

Mumbai – 26.87%

Pune – 39.10%


Pune remains one of the strongest markets for Chhaava, maintaining an impressive 39.10% occupancy, while Mumbai and Bengaluru also show consistent trends.

Chhaava has now cemented itself as a historic Bollywood blockbuster, delivering one of the biggest box office runs ever. With record-breaking numbers in its fourth week, the film has already crossed two of the biggest Hindi films of all time
